Welcome to my home!
Hidden in the heart of historic Key West, Florida is a tiny jewel called Nancy Forrester’s Secret Garden.
It is a mini rainforest with an astonishing collection of palms, orchids, bromeliads, aroids, cycads, and ferns. Rare plants give horticultural value to this last undeveloped wooded acre of land in the center of “old town”, on an island densely overdeveloped and one of the world’s costliest places to live. The most ardent plant lovers find the garden gratifying, spiritually uplifting and visually gorgeous.
This is an artists garden that inspires song, dance, poems, paintings, books and creative collaboration.
Roxanne Roxbury from England said ‘It’s like walking into a dream” Mark Caputo of Key West, said it’s “Jurassic Park” sans Dinosaurs.” Charles Kuralt said in Charles Kurault’s America “... you can easily get lost in the beauty of the place”.
Nancy Forrester says, "If you come to be entertained, to get lost, to seek beauty, you will be pleased." Secrets await you!
