OUR FEATHERED TEACHER "ARA"
ARA is a Blue and Gold Macaw. She is a twenty five year old female parrot.
She loves to show her wings and to go out and about in town. Here she is seen with
Steve at Schooner Warf Bar. Steve is sharing his breakfast of eggs and bacon. Food
sharing is "A Must" with every parrot
She says, "Hello" (with a number of inflections), "Good Morning", and "Hugs and
Kisses"
Ara's favorite toy is a whole roll of paper towels. She enjoys seeing all footware
especially visitors who wear sparkles, glitter, and color on their feet, including ankle
bracelets and toe rings
